Mr. McMurchy taught all of my children. I believe that their success in life was due in great part to the encouragement that Mr. McMurchy gave them to do their best at all times.

Mr. McMurchy made learning an enjoyable experience for all his students. By giving individualized attention and focusing on each student's abilities, he enabled all his students to realize their full potential.

Children who were taught by Mr. McMurchy were always treated with respect. He exhibited great patience in dealing with students who were slow learners and took great pains to ensure that they could grasp the subject matter. He was always prepared and was also available for help when it was needed. By utilizing resources outside the prescribed texts, Mr. McMurchy made the lessons more interesting. Overall, he was a superior teacher.

Betty Babaseeku
Mr. McMurchy taught both my son and daughter. His experience in teaching ESL as well as the regular school curriculum helped him to understand and address constructively the language problems that my daughter experienced in the first couple of years that we lived in Canada. She eventually went on to university and graduated with honours. I credit Mr. McMurchy as one of the few teachers who really took the time to help her.
