This guy was a great teacher who prepared us for high school. He spent a lot of time helping students who were experiencing difficulty and organized a rocking trip to Ottawa for us. I had never been outside our small town and I saw and learned a lot. He was my teacher for four years and of those four years I never wanted another teacher.

On his first day of teaching my class, he swore because he forgot a paper, then made us swear not to tell anyone. After said event, he began favoring his cousin who was in our class. Lastly, he was charged with impaired driving.

Mr. Van Clieaf taught us History, Geography and English but what's more than that he taught us about life. He was fair to those who wanted to learn and did not waste his time on others who felt he was too strict or "picking" on them. After graduating from elementary school I realized that he had prepared us for high school and I will always thank him for that. Anyone who didn't do well in his classes was lazy and it would have been easy to excel as he gave us everything we needed to do well!

He made fun of kids and called them names because they didn’t have neat writing. He was a terrible teacher and had so much favoritism towards the boys in the class.

Van Gogh Exposer >:)

First off, Mr. Vangogh was a terrible teacher. He was disliked by many students and often had inappropriate behaviours in front of young students. Once he told us about a girl who was in school with him in secondary school. He said she was popular and pretty. He then said she grew up to have a VERY bAD job. wink wink, nudge nudge, cough cough. Obviously implying she was a stripper. When one of the students, aka me, whispered that she is a stripper, and another girl screamed it out, he then didn't tell us what she really was right away. He then took me in a room with two of my friends and asked us if he ever said the words, "stripper, doghouse, and prostitute" The doghouse is a local strip club. He then told us days later that she had to "clean dirty pools". If that was true, he could have told us right away. May I add this was to a group of 9,10, and 11-year-olds. Not cool, right? He also strutted down the classroom when he played a lingerie commercial in front of a grade 4,5,6 split class. Also, he made us listen to 'video killed the radio star' until we had PTSD. He also constantly made fun of children for having bad writing, bad spelling, or if they talked weird. Teachers should help young kids and not tease them.
