If this is the teacher I am thinking of (Cameron Public School) then I would like to say thank you, Helen. You risked your career, in your first year teaching, by taking a bleeding student, me, to the hospital. This act of kindness has never been forgotten and the story has been shared countless times over the years. I have other, less painful, memories of your classroom and for them to have stayed with me 40+ years is a testament to your dedication to your students and your role as an educator. Thank you.
