Mr. Mackie was an excellent teacher. I learned how to properly debate in his class, he always tried to make our lessons fun and engaging. I was a very shy student, I’d often make excuses for not doing presentations in all of my classes. But I didn’t feel shy or scared to do any presentations in Mr. Mackie’s class, he’s good at making you feel smart and capable. A lot of other teachers would show a little favouritism between students, but I always felt everyone was on equal learning grounds in Mr. Mackie’s classroom. Judgement was never something you’d worry about in his class. I graduated in 2023, and I continue to believe Mr. Mackie was my favourite teacher I’ve ever had. Thank you for teaching us Mr. Mackie.
