A not-so happy teddy bear

Haloulos is a great teacher. She carries out all the lessons she needs to with nearly no time in between. The main thing that I have a problem with is that she doesn't respect the student's opinions. This may sound a bit overkill, but hear me out. I asked for the definition of a word while I was writing a piece of an essay which was due in two days from that point. I always want to learn new vocabulary, and I thought she knew that too. So, I asked for the definition of the word "chronic" from her, since she had been sitting in front of her computer at that point and had easy access to online dictionaries and other resources like that. Rather than being helpful, she decided to ask me semi-politely, 'What are you using it for in your essay?'. This ticked me off. Instead of being accommodating to my request, she decides to snap back with the old, 'That's not on task, you don't deserve this information.' kind of treatment. All in all, this teacher needs to lighten up. She could be so much better if she would just listen to what the student needs and help them along the way. It's pretty hard to be focused when the teacher denies your attempt to get information. This is your job, lady. Please make the recipients of your teaching enjoy what you're trying to give them as oppose to outright hating speaking to you. Sincerely, A Not-So Happy Teddy Bear
