This vice principal is the worst staff member i have ever had experiences with, she is rude, she is vile, and she is power hungry. Her behaviour is actually disgusting and the fact that ucdsb allows her to continue working is actually insane. She should not be in the job. Instead of doing her job she decides to abuse her power and bully and target students, making them feel unsafe and unwelcome in their learning environment. Action should be taken and she should not be in the job at all.

Ms Pooni Gunderson is an absolute nightmare. She torments the students are North Dundas district high school. She will suspend any student for any reason. She is unable to be reasoned with. She laughs and mocks students who are struggling and doesn’t even attempt to understand how students are feeling. With her it’s “my way or the High way” There is no winning with her. Students do not feel safe with her at our school, students and parents have gone to the principal(s) and the school board and nothing has been done about her behaviour. She mocks, gives suspensions left and right for no reason, and she has many allegations against her. She looks in between and under bathroom stall doors while students are using the bathroom, and she walks into change rooms while students are changing, and she proceeds to stand and watch while ignoring students requests and pleads for her to leave. This women should not be aloud to work in any school district or anywhere with minors who cannot defend themselves without worrying they will be punished. Get her out of our school.

Terrible. She’s a selfish, terrible woman. She doesn’t seem to have a care in the world for students who are struggling and tends to make fun of said students. She has a terrible attitude as well. She targets students, watching their every move until they do one thing that’s against her beliefs is appropriate and will get them in trouble for the smallest things. She should not have this power with the way she’s using it.

i had never before met someone who is an educator who hates students so much to the point they go out of their way every single day to make students miserable, until i met mrs pooni-gunderson. she is a horrible person, and mr carter-edwards just lets her get away with all the horrid things she does, he is always defending her and invalidating HIS students in the process. she blatantly favours certain students over others and specifically picks students that she targets. it is ridiculous that nothing has been done about this incredibly vile behaviour yet because this is a school, and considering staff at north dundas likes to preach that it is a safe place for students, they are the problem that makes school feel like an unsafe place for many students and its not okay.

She has no respect for privacy, students, or parents. She’s not a fair person and looks out for specific people to pick at. Through the years she’s been at ND she takes advantage of her power. ND used to be a happy calm school until she came around. She constantly gives attitude like eye rolling, interrupting, and threatening unneeded detention/suspension when she doesn’t know what else to do.
