I had Tina for college English in 1985 at Seneca College. She was my favorite English teacher of all. Class was always fun, and we were engaged in the topics. Help was always available when requested, and nobody was ever made to feel like an idiot for asking for assistance. Now that I do a lot of teaching myself, I try to be as clear and patient with my students as she was with us. She is one of my role models for teaching.
