I'm not a huge fan of this teacher. I really loved science until I had her as a grade 9 science teacher. It's only been a few months and I dislike her for multiple reasons. First of all, she's almost always late for class and she keeps the door locked so we have to stay outside for 3-7 minutes which cuts into our learning time. When she's actually in the classroom, she intentionally keeps us outside and waits a while to actually let us in the classroom which is annoying in my opinion. She was even eating lunch and keeping us outside and when some people were inside, she kicked them out of the classroom to wait. Another reason why I don't like her is because she gives work like we only have her as our teacher. She gives us homework almost every day after our lesson and we don't get time to do it at all because she usually posts the work afterschool. I just came back from a chemistry test and school ended and I thought i had no homework because she never told us we had homework, she then posts homework to do over the weekend telling us to do it by the next class which surprised me because i found this out on Sunday so I had to rush to finish it. It also seems like she intentionally hides things expecting us to check the google classroom everyday because any person wouldn't have seen or done the work if they weren't told to. Another example was when I had the same chemistry test but never told us the date until 2 days before the test. She also never told us about our test outline (our first out of 3) which she posted but sneakily (never told us and never posted it on the stream but in the google classroom with no notification saying she did) When a student in my class asked wheres the test outline she said it was posted a week ago. I told her that she never informed us about the outline but she brushed it off and told us it's expectations to check google classroom everyday. I could say a lot more but it would be to long. Overall, if you get Ms. Tanega, you might be in a whole lot of problems
