Having a son with an unusual learning profile, as well as a daughter who is an avid learner, I've had plenty of interactions with many different teachers and administrators. No teacher I've ever encountered has so much of himself invested in teaching. Chris makes every child feel safe, feel like they matter and that they deserve to be listened to, understood and respected. He brings out the best in every child's nature, finds ways to help them navigate their emotional journeys and makes each class such a pleasure that kids are reluctant to leave at the end of the day. As far as teachers go- this man deserves a medal. Best ever, by far.
