He is hateful and spiteful with the worst temper. He should not be allowed near kids, old people or animals.

Harry Shuber is a prime example of how teaching kids for a long time can corrode a teacher's sense of responsibility towards their students- especially when it comes to kids from low income neighborhoods. When I was his student in grade 8, he often would keep us hours after class to complain about how horrible we are. He would often yell at us, telling us to "cover your fxxxxxx mouth when you ywan" and on days he's had it, even telling us we will amount to nothing. I was one of the students he told to the class "would not amount to anything" He has an extremely bad temper and admitted to teach us kids like the people he tought in prison. No matter how cool he and 'hip' he might seem, he cannot treat 13 year olds as CHILDREN that they are and continues gives into his anger, often terrifying the students he doesn't like. Kids internalize the things that are constantly being told to them, and by treating his students like they are "good for nothing", he adds to the perpetual problems of discrimination that inner-city kids face. The fact that this man was or still is allowed to be around such young children is astonishing and is a failure of TDSB to provide a safe environment to learn and grow for CHILDREN ; someone needs to be accountable!
