I had the honour and privilege of having Renee Worotny as a teacher for mathematics this year. Being a grade 12 student I've had my fair share of teachers and different teaching styles, but I can say without a doubt that Mrs.Worotny is the best teacher that I have ever had. She was always there for me whenever I needed help and had a question and would email me regularly to encourage me to stay on top of my work alongside showing me what was expected in the course. Teachers like this are the sole reason why students are successful. I hate math, Ive hated math since the 4th grade. But having Mrs.Worotny as a teacher, math became my favourite subject. She is such a caring, Studious and an amazing teacher that she pushes you to reach levels that you don't think you can reach, but that she can teach. She believes in all of her students regardless if they believe in themselves. She is an Unsung Hero and deserves any and every award in the teaching world. Sincerly Sam, a student who was so fortunate to have such a great teacher and an even better humanbeing.
