When I look back on my education I have to say hands down that Mrs. Drenko was the teacher that I remembered the most. She was an intense, passionate and dedicated teacher. I mention her from time to time because of how she brought me from a variable degree of complacency to actively engaged and excelling the year I was in her class. She is a tough teacher, in doing so raised the bar significantly in my personal expectations. Academically I was a moderate student before and after her class. I was incredible in hers. Now that I have a child I look for teachers that motivate my son the way she did me. I think of her often and although I am not sure if she is still teaching, she was always 100%, she cared about her students, what she taught and is my favourite teacher to date.
