I agree.. she is one of the best teachers. I took Biology grade 12 with her. I was told by some students that she is not a good teacher, but when I took the course with her, I realized that these are the students who do not even open the books, do not even read the review she provides. Every question in the test was from her review. She goes over each and every question given in test review. yes, she wants you to answer first and then she provides you the answer. she is very knowledgable and gives very comon examples from our daily lives, that makse us remember the whole concept. I feel students who just wants marks without studying would only complain against her. Her class makes you learn and prepares you well for the university. I would have dropped this course in the begining itself, but her encouragement made me continue the course. I ended up getting 90% finally. I learnt a lot in her class. I will remember everything throug out my life. God bless Ms Saberi.

This is one of the best teacher I ever had..I totally diagree with the comment made. She really prepares you for the university. She has strong knowldege of what she is teaching. I took grade 12 Biopgy with her and I have had 90% of marks in her class. I used to make sure that I am in the class, becz of the way she explains. The way she prepares us for test and exam is remarkable. You need to learn and work in order to achieve marks in her subject and be succesful. I grealy respect her and love her. I frequesntly visit her also to show my honour.

While I do enjoy biology, this is the worst teacher I have ever had. She seldom answers questions, rarely answers emails, is often late or doesn't show up for class (and has a substitute come in), does not motivate the class to learn and shows a LOT of video clips. When she does teach, her topics are convoluted, and all over the place - meaning she confuses the topic and doesn't follow along the textbook. She gives poor examples. She will often say what an assignment consists of, when it's due or how much its worth ONLY to change these rules during and after the assignment is due. She practices a lot of favoritism and only gives THOSE students she thinks will make something of themselves in the future (that isn't for her to judge, she isn't God). She is sometimes "army" strict meaning students can't write notes and has the expectation that ALL students should learn orally (by hearing what she says only). For most students, this is very hard to do. Overall, she doesn't make biology fun. She can't control the classroom and she doesn't prepare students for their tests. The questions come out of the textbook, so its best if students MEMORIZE the textbook and teach themselves. Her lectures are a waste of time. She isn't understanding at all and fails students for being absent for legitimate reasons. She made biology a bore and a terrible subject for those of us who enjoy it.

i love my teacher..i was about to drop the course but it was because of her that i stayed in the class and made it through successfully. I was planning to repeat the course but with the marks I obtained i am sure i will be successful at my next level. God bless you Ms Saaberi
