Frank Turco has been criticized quite a bit for his teaching methods and I do not find this fair. Last semester I had him for mathematics. This is a subject that can be difficult to learn, and if the concepts are not grasped, can become a frustration for students. Many of my classmates had their moments of frustration. The thing is that Frank really did try to be helpful. On numerous occasions he would volunteer his time outside of the classroom to help those who struggled. Sadly, few took him up on these offers and rather than seeking the help required, many would bash his reputation instead. I do not care for this approach. Frank Turco is a smart man and a caring teacher as well. I appreciate his efforts and think he deserves more respect than what has been shown.
